Pentecostal COG: A New Way of Life

There are things in your life that you regret both for doing and not doing certain things. I for one have a lot of regrets for doing some things... bad things to people around me especially those who I love. I will not go anymore to the details but one thing is for sure - I have regretted each and every one of those doings and have repented for them.

When I became part of the Pentecostal COG, everything changed for me. Little by little, I started to change... to become a better person. A lot of people has noticed this changes and have acknowledged them. This gave me strength and courage to continue what I was doing.

I can say that Pentecostal COG is not only applicable during services and withing the four walls. Pentecostal COG should be considered as a lifestyle. What ever you learn, you apply it not only to your fellow members but to other people as well.

Bottomline: Pentecostal COG is a way of life.

What Is COG in Pentecostal COG

Most people who have not heard about Pentecostal COG usually asks, "What does the COG in Pentecostal COG stand for?"

Actually, I have written this already in the first introductory post of this blog though I just put them inside a parenthesis). COG is an abbreviation for the words Church Of God.

So the next time anybody asks you, "What does COG stand for?" You can knowingly say, "COG in Pentecostal COG stands for Church of God."

Pentecostal COG

The roots of Pentecostal COG can be traced back to the day of Pentecost a week after the ascension event. The movement however started in Los Angeles in the Azusa Street Revival, USA.

The Pentecostal COG group started out as a small bible group which grew bigger as the teachings became widespread. The inspired members kept on spreading the good news and the teachings of the Pentecostal Church of God. Soon enough, it has spread not only in the United States of America but to other countries as well.

As the Pentecostal COG became bigger, a leading organization must be created to keep everything in tact thus the modern governing body of the Church of God.
